Earlier today on the Dan Patrick Show, Chicago Bears’ quarterback Mitchell Trubisky called in to discuss a number of topics, and one of which was what advice he has for incoming quarterbacks. “I think the most important thing for these guys coming in is just come in humble to your team,” Trubisky said. “You’ve got to earn the respect of your teammates and coaches, and it’s going to be a process. Going to be one day at a time, showing them through your play, your work ethic, who you are as a person, working very hard and earning their respect, and showing them who you are as a player.”

He also recommends blocking out the “outside noise, social media, the media, and all the naysayers.”

Trubisky also spent some time talking about how much he throws in the offseason, his several nicknames (Mr. Biscuit, Money Mitch, Pretty Boy Assassin), his “welcome to the NFL moment,” and more.
