There’s nothing more exciting than a new season of football. Fresh faces join teams all across the league, old stars return to strap the pads, and the whole country readies itself for another 5 months of controversy, craziness, and water-cooler chatter. But for all the buzz that Training Camp brings, it can become surprisingly hard to know what to care about — should you be worried about Trubisky’s pick in yesterday’s practice? Does Mathieu Betts’ latest sack make him a roster lock? Is it a problem that Nagy isn’t playing the starters in the preseason games?
With questions like these bound to cloud the Bears’ offseason picture, I spend this episode laying out the 8 things I think are most important to follow during this year’s practices. Some are based on rookie development, others scheme-watching, but all involve important pieces of information that we should be able to learn throughout camp. Check out my list and let me know what you think!
