The Chicago Bears won’t have another open to the public practice at Olivet Nazarene University until Thursday, August 1, but the team will be back on the field tomorrow for a closed session, and according to safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix he’ll be back practicing.
Clinton-Dix has yet to practice after suffering a knee injury this offseason, but according to this video clip on Twitter, the Bears are going to activate him off the PUP list for Tuesday.

“The update on my status is, I’ll be back tomorrow,” Ha Ha told one of his fans at training camp on Monday. “They’ve been doing a great job taking care of me here, you know just controlling my injury, and I’m excited about it. They’ve been doing great things in the training room to get me ready for training camp, so man I miss the grind.”
With Clinton-Dix back that should eventually move Deon Bush back to the second team, but during the first few days of camp I think it’s important to note that Bush practiced well.
The Bears have been running some single high safety looks with All-Pro Eddie Jackson up near the line of scrimmage with Bush playing a center-field role. I’d imagine this is something they’d continue to do in order to take advantage of Jackson’s coverage skills.
Bears’ fans, are you excited to eventually see HHCD out there in Chuck Pagano’s defense?
