The Bears may be playing mostly backups, but it seems at least 6 other teams are interested in the deep roster that Ryan Pace as assembled.
NFL scouts from 6 other teams are in attendance at the #Bears vs #Giants game.

The Bears and Giants are going at it tonight in the second preseason game for each team, and as always the outcome is meaningless. But there are some players on both sides of the ball fighting for a job. There might not be any room on their respective rosters, but putting good tape out there for the other NFL teams is a must.
Here are all the Bears that won’t be playing tonight.
David Montgomery is among those not playing tonight. The rest of the list:

Chicago Bears’ fans, this is everything you need to know about the 2019 preseason opener between the Bears and the New York Giants!
After the Bears held a night time controlled scrimmage on Wednesday at Halas Hall, I doubt we’ll see many of the starters against the Giants. And I’m okay with that. Week one is all that matters right now, so get these guys to the Packers game healthy. The Giants are expected to play quarterback Eli Manning for a bit, so it will be good for the Bears to see a veteran QB.
When is the game?
