WCG Fantasy Tournament 2019 Signup!

That’s right! The WCG Fantasy Tournament is back for year 3! Yeah, ok, it’s a little late. Sorry bout that. I had a work thing that kept me out of town the past few weeks. That said, we’ve still got 2 weeks before the season starts. Plenty of time.

For those of you who participated last season, you know the deal. For those that didn’t, here’s the gist: Open only to WCG members in good standing, five 12 team leagues that operate as divisions with a WCG staff member serving as it’s commissioner (who among us doesn’t want to lay the fantasy smack down on Lester?). Each plays out separately, with a regular season, playoffs, a championship game and an eventual champion. The division champion that scores the most points during the championship game, wins the tournament. Simple as that!

Of course, it’s not all about bragging rights. There’s prizes too! Each division champion gets a vinyl sticker with their division’s logo:

And the tournament champion gets a custom illustrated t-shirt designed by yours truly:

Here’s the league/scoring details for anyone that’s interested:

• 12 teams
• ½ PPR
• Snake Draft (random order), currently set for next weekend (check your league for specifics)
• 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX, 1 DEF, 0 K, 6 Bench spots, 1 IR
• 6 points for Throw/Rec/Rush/Return Tds
• 1 point per 25 Passing yards
• 1 point per 10 Rushing/Receiving yards
• -3 points for turnovers (INT, Fumble)/3 defensive points for turnovers
• -1 point for fumble (not lost)
• 2 point bonus for 100 Rushing/Receiving yards
• 5 point bonus for 150 Rushing/Receiving yards
• 2 point bonus for 300 Passing yards
• 5 point bonus for 400 Passing yards
• Leagues will be hosted at Sleeper.
