The Bears and Titans will get underway soon and this is now our official open thread to discuss all the exciting happenings this evening.

Head coach Matt Nagy will sit the following players (list courtesy of the Sun Times), so we can assume these are all locks for the 53-man roster.

Offense:

Quarterback Mitchell Trubisky; running backs David Montgomery, Tarik Cohen and Mike Davis; receivers Allen Robinson II, Taylor Gabriel, Anthony Miller, Cordarrelle Patterson and Javon Wims; tight ends Trey Burton, Adam Shaheen and Ben Braunecker; and offensive linemen Charles Leno Jr., Cody Whitehair, James Daniels, Kyle Long, Bobby Massie and Ted Larsen.

Offensive lineman Rashaad Coward also will not play, but he’s still sidelined with an injured elbow.

Defense:

Linemen Akiem Hicks, Eddie Goldman, Bilal Nichols and Roy Robertson-Harris; outside linebackers Khalil Mack and Leonard Floyd; inside linebackers Roquan Smith and Danny Trevathan; cornerbacks Prince Amukamara, Kyle Fuller and Buster Skrine; and safeties Eddie Jackson and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.

For those keeping score at home, that’s every expected starter on both sides of teh ball, plus key reserves.

Here are a few more possible locks.

So now it’s on to the game!

I know, I know... it’s just a boring preseason game, but in exactly seven days the Bears will be hosting the Green Bay Packers in the 2019 season opener!

We’re almost there, guys!

You guys can check here for live updates, and if anything extra newsworthy does happen tonight against the Titans we’ll share it right here.

This is everything you need to know about the upcoming preseason match-up between the Chicago Bears and the Tennessee Titans.
