Yesterday’s Chicago Bears training camp was Military Appreciation day and today is First Responder’s Day, which is in support of police, fire, medical and emergency service men and women. If you haven’t made it out to Bourbonnais yet, there is only one more open practice and that’s this Saturday, August 10.

Camp is closed to the public on the 7th and 9th, but on Thursday the 8th, the Bears will be at Soldier Field hosting the Carolina Panthers. As we saw a year ago, head coach Matt Nagy is bound to take a cautious approach to the preseason slate, so don’t expect to see much of the starters on Thursday night.
