Even though the Chicago Bears have already ruled defensive lineman Bilal Nichols out for Monday night’s game in Washington with a broken hand, they are still relatively healthy. The big surprise on the final injury report is kicker Eddy Pineiro, who suffered a minor injury in the weight room this week. Head coach Matt Nagy said that he kicked yesterday but not today, and that, “I really do think it’ll be OK.”
EDIT: Pineiro traveled with the team and the Bears didn’t make a roster move at kicker, so odds are high that he’ll be playing tonight.
Besides Nichols being listed as out, the other four Bears on the injury report are all questionable.
TE - Trey Burton (groin)
RG - Kyle Long (hip)
FS - Eddie Jackson (shoulder)
K - Eddy Pineiro (knee)
Burton was limited all week as he still works back to full speed after his groin injury, but he’ll likely play on Monday night. Both Long, who did not practice today, and Jackson, who was limited, had their time off because the Bears practiced on the indoor turf. Nagy expects both to play in Washington.
Here’s Washington’s injury list for Monday Night’s game.
DL - Jonathan Allen (knee) - Questionable
CB - Quinton Dunbar (knee) - Questionable
TE - Jordan Reed (concussion) - Out
The three players listed above are all starters.
QB - Colt McCoy (fibula) - Out
LB Cassanova McKinzy (hip) - Out
