Bears-Less Sunday: NFL Week 3 Pre-Party Livestream and Open Thread

New, comments

The WCG Sunday Livestream still isn’t thrilled with the offense, but at least the kicker thing is kinda-sorta dealt with?

NFL: Chicago Bears at Denver Broncos Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning. The above picture shows the final moment the Bears’ kicking situation was yet unsettled.

You know, the moment before Eddy Piniero’s game-winning kick sailed through the uprights with a little room to spare as the Bears overcame a last-second two-point conversion by Vic Fangio’s Denver Broncos to even their record at 1-1.

Now the rest of the offense, having scored just 20 points over the span of two games in total, just needs to get... well... everything else online. Since they don’t get a chance to work on that until tomorrow evening against Washington, we’re here this morning to talk about it.

Three questions for you as we head into today’s Livestream:

  • What’s the single biggest issue for the Bears’ offense?
  • Did you think we’d hit a week 3 where we were happier with the kicker than the rest of the offense?
  • How soon can we get back to noon kickoffs?

If you want to get in touch with us during the stream, there are several ways to do that:

We’ll be live at about 9:30 AM CT. See you then.
