The Players’ Tribune has been around for over five years now, and it’s become the go to place for athletes to tell their stories. Whether by word, video or podcast, the athletes are able to share a bit of themselves on the platform.

Their latest video features two former Chicago Bears, Gary Fencik and Doug Plank, collectively known as the “Hit Men” back in their playing days, talking about the violence of the sport and what it’s done to their bodies, concussions and CTE, and where they see football and the research to make the game safer heading in the future.
