Long: Retirement is Permanent

The latest Bears Banter Podcast has dropped and Bill Zimmerman has a special in-person guest in one Kyle Long! The newly retired Chicago Bear has plenty on his mind as the two of them had a nice conversation. Long was appearing on behalf of Walgreens and Gillette.

Long hit on a variety of topics including what it was like growing up in a football family, his thoughts on the offensive line, specifically Charles Leno, and of course, he chimed in on Mitch Trubisky who he still has faith in and feels that he is just “scratching the surface.”

Long had some compelling thoughts about his retirement saying he would only come back if he could get “robot legs” and also discussed how he restructured his contract because he wanted to be a Bear for life and wanted to make sure he was back for one more season. Long knew the end was near.
