Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse — a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the offseason, we send 32 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Bears fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
The NFL’s offseason is the time where fans of every franchise can renew the hope in their favorite team and turn the page on the disappointment that was. While the 2019 season is still raging on with the playoffs getting started this weekend, us fans of the Chicago Bears are ready to move on and look towards better times.
For the most part, our FanPulse confidence level was as much a roller coaster ride as the Bears season was, with our levels spiking with each win and falling with each loss, but now that the season is over it seems some of us are looking big picture and starting to see the potential this roster has.
#Bears fans must be relieved the season is over now and we can look towards 2020, because our #FanPulse confidence level shot up from 8% last week to 21% this week! pic.twitter.com/wPRuvM7K8A

While I’m optimistic that general manager Ryan Pace and head coach Matt Nagy can get things back on track, I’m not ready to predict a return to the playoffs for the 2020 Bears.
This offseason will be an interesting one to monitor as there are several franchise altering decisions that need to be made.
We’ll likely check back in with the FanPulse after free agency and the NFL Draft.
