The Chicago Bears keep winning football games, despite expert predictions

“They’re the worst 2-0 team in the league!”

“They’re the worst 3-0 team I’ve ever seen!”

“They’re the second-worst 4-1 team in history!”

“They’re a 5-1 paper tiger!”

If you’re a Bears fan, you’ve probably heard one or all of these things at some point over the last 6 weeks. Every win has been discredited, the lone loss has been amplified, and as the Bears now sit in sole possession of the division’s top spot the cries of “frauds!” have only gotten louder and louder.

And yet, the Bears keep winning anyways. And they may very well continue to do so.

To celebrate the Bears’ latest win over the up-and-coming Carolina Panthers, I threw together a quick “lowlight reel” that details the story of Chicago’s 2020 season as told by expert predictions. Spoiler warning: they get a lot of games wrong.
