Injuries suck. And, unfortunately, injuries are immanent when playing football.
As for the Chicago Bears, they have received some bad news regarding one of their young ascending players on their offensive line.
Tom Pelissero of NFL Network has revealed confirmation was sent to the Bears of an injury that will end James Daniels’s 2020 season.
An MRI confirmed #Bears LG James Daniels suffered a torn pec last night and he’s done for the season, per source.

While settling in at LG, Daniels was starting to dominate as the season progressed. The injury was first reported by the broadcast booth at Thursday Night Football during last night’s victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. For what it’s worth, Alex Bars filled in for James Daniels the rest of the way.
It is currently unknown if the Bears will pursue adding a veteran to plug into the hole that is now opened on their offensive line. Quite frankly, a promotion from the practice squad as Alex Bars fills in at LG might be the only possible move here. For now, we all wish for a swift yet painless recovery for James.
We will keep you all updated as this situation progresses.
