Windy City Gridiron picks Bears-Packers

The reeling Bears look to regroup in Green Bay on Sunday night.

What once looked like a promising season is now rapidly circling around the drain. Only one month ago were the Bears on top of the world. Despite clear blemishes, at 5-1 they were not only in play for the NFC North, but the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC. A month later, at 5-5 and with no answer in sight, it goes to show you one thing: The feeling of a season can be flipped upside down before you even have a chance to blink.

This Sunday night presents a chance for the Bears to start rising on a slow count. A holiday weekend visit to Green Bay and the Packers always carries inherent meaning. The potential return of Mitchell Trubisky with the Bears’ season likely already hanging in the balance means this meeting is laced with some extra oomph.

Whatever transpires at Lambeau, it’ll no doubt prove to be a drama-filled affair the way Bears-Packers always seems to be.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
