The Chicago Bears got some Black Friday good news today as Pro Bowl safety Eddie Jackson was activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

Jackson went on the list five days ago, so he missed most of the week of practice preparing for the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football, but he’ll be back at it today at Halas Hall.

The Reserve/COVID-19 list was crested this year for players who either test positive for the coronavirus or who have been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person. Jackson was placed on the list as a precaution as he was in close contact with someone that tested positive away from the team.

Jackson hasn’t missed any games this year and his 58 tackles is third on the team. He has also added 2 passed defended, 3 forced fumbles, and 1 fumble recovery that he returned for a touchdown.
