I’m going to be positive here this morning. The Bears were positively horrible across the board.

THE DAILY SPONGIE SPECIAL

BEARRRSSSS

Ken’s Note: There are only going to be a few stories linked today because I’ve got to work early in the AM and am not going to sit up half the night to get 30 different versions of “The Chicago Bears Stink From GM to last man on the practice squad.” We all know they do. Such is the life of a Chicago Bears fan.

Hot seat heats up for Bears coach Matt Nagy after humiliating 41-25 loss to Packers - Chicago Sun-Times - The Bears have been absolutely awful on offense the last two seasons, and it’s hard to see an alleged offensive guru keeping his job when they start cleaning up this mess at the end of the season.

Curl: 2020 NFL Chicago Bears losing streak really hits its stride in 41 to 10 collapse against Green Bay Packers - Windy City Gridiron - The Bears offense flirted with competence at moments, but the defense flipped the script and rolled over early and often to expose their belly to their Packer masters in a dismal performance by our free-falling Beloved football team.

Bears notebook: Offensive line shuffle, a benching, Pro Bowl update and more - Chicago Sun-Times - A look at a few new developments for the Bears on both sides of the ball in their game against the Packers on Sunday.

Another QB boondoggle for Bears: Nick Foles under contract for 2 more years - Chicago Sun-Times - The Bears gave up a fourth-round pick and committed to three years, $24 million when they acquired Foles. For all his struggles, he’s still in line to be their 2021 starter.

Week 12 updates: Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers - Chicago Tribune - The Chicago Bears are taking on the rival Green Bay Packers on Sunday night at Lambeau Field, looking to snap a four-game losing streak. Check back for updates throughout the game.

Bears’ Akiem Hicks inactive against Packers - Bears star defensive lineman Akiem Hicks was inactive against the Packers on Sunday night. He has been dealing with a hamstring injury, which he suffered in a game on Nov. 16.

Bernstein: Bears just too easy to beat - 670 The Score - It was a bad sign early Sunday night that the Bears’ performance was already invoking comparisons to their Lambeau Field face-plant of 2014.

Something’s Gotta Change: PACKERS 41, BEARS 25 - Bleacher Nation - Green Bay defeated Chicago by a 41-25 score. It never felt that close.

Sunday Night Football: Aaron Rodgers throws four TDs as Packers rout Bears - ProFootballTalk - Aaron Rodgers threw four touchdown passes, and the Packers Defense forced three Mitchell Trubisky turnovers as Green Bay steamrolled the Bears 41-25 on Sunday Night Football.

Bears QB Mitch Trubisky fumbles his second chance - Chicago Sun-Times - For perhaps the final time, Trubisky’s mortal sins were upchucked onto the about-to-be-frozen tundra of Lambeau Field for all the NFL to see. Comparing him to Patrick Mahomes or Deshaun Watson — two quarterbacks available when Ryan Pace traded up to draft Trubisky four years ago — almost feels cruel.

Three takeaways from Bears-Packers - Chicago Sun-Times - Playing for the first time in 21 days, David Montgomery returned with a bang.

Packers rout hapless Bears, 41-25 - 670 The Score - Aaron Rodgers threw four touchdown passes and the Green Bay Packers beat the slumping Chicago Bears, 41-25, on Sunday night to pad their NFC North lead.

Saints crush QB-less Broncos 31-3 - ProFootballTalk - The Broncos completed one pass, gained 112 yards of offense and got rolled over by the Saints in a 31-3 loss. That drops the Broncos to 4-7 on the season and leaves them with a shrinking chance of finding a path to the playoffs.

Denver Broncos 3 winners, 4 losers in game that shouldn’t have happened - Mile High Report
Well done, NFL. Your message was delivered loud and clear (not). Still, massive props to Kendall Hinton. Ken’s Note: I agree, this game should NEVER have been played, they should have re-scheduled it for Tuesday and given somebody a chance to clear protocol or allowed Denver to bring in a guy like a Jordan Ta’amu or bring Chad Kelley back in or at least a guy like a Cole McDonald.

2 things learned from Denver Broncos 31-3 debacle against N.O. Saints - Mile High Report
A Denver Broncos game that should have never happened resulted in a predictable 31-3 blowout loss.
