The Chicago Bears have already ruled out two-fifth if its starting secondary with cornerback Jaylon Johnson and nickelback Buster Skrine set to miss Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Tight end Demetrius Harris (foot) is the lone Chicago player listed as doubtful, while there are eight Bears listed as questionable.
EDIT: Harris has been downgraded to out. All the latest here.
The questionable Bears are safety Deon Bush (foot), defensive lineman Akiem Hicks (ankle), running back/receiver/kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson (knee), outside linebacker Khalil Mack (shoulder), wide out Allen Robinson II (hamstring), corner/nickel Duke Shelley (knee/foot), defensive lineman Mario Edwards Jr. (hamstring), and defensive lineman Bilal Nichols (knee). All these questionable players, plus the doubtful Harris, practiced on a limited basis today at Halas Hall.
Head coach Matt Nagy said that Robinson, Mack and Hicks were limited for precautionary reasons and should all play in Jacksonville.
The Bears will likely activate a defensive back from the practice squad again this week, and with Shelley questionable, they may need to bring two DBs up.
The Jaguars ruled two players out for the game, wide receiver Collin Johnson and cornerback Sidney Jones IV, and they list running back James Robinson as questionable with an ankle injury. Robinson hasn’t practiced all week, but he has indicated he wants to play.
EDIT: Robinson has been downgraded to out.
