After losing three practice squad players to the Reserve/COVID-19 list the last few days, on Wednesday the Chicago Bears got one back, as linebacker Devante Bond was restored to the practice squad from injured reserve.
Bond, a 4-year veteran with 34 career games played, was injured back on October 8 when he was called up to play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was also activated for their week 2 game due to his experience on special teams.
The Bears didn’t need a corresponding practice squad move to make room for Bond, as the three Reserve/COVID-19 players (Thomas Ives, LaCale London, and Manti Te’o) don’t count towards the 16 player limit.
The Bears current practice squad list is as follows.
- WR - Rodney Adams
- ILB - Devante Bond
- QB - Tyler Bray
- DB - Marqui Christian
- DE - Tyler Clark
- DB - Xavier Crawford
- WR - Reggie Davis
- OL - Dieter Eiselen
- TE - Jesper Horsted
- OL - Eric Kush
- LB - Ledarius Mack
- RB - Lamar Miller
- QB - Kyle Sloter
- OL - Badara Traore
