Well this was certainly... unexpected.
The Chicago Bears finalized a trade today that sent their 4th round compensatory pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for the services of none other than former SBLII MVP Nick Foles. The move serves to both stabilize the Bears’ quarterbacking situation, which did not look great in 2019, and almost totally drain the team of their 2020 draft picks, as they’re now left with only 2 remaining picks in the NFL’s first 150.
The move is certainly a big one and looks to have a large impact on the 2020 season. With that in mind, I felt it only appropriate to bring in one of the best Eagles’ analysts I could think of, Michael Kist, to talk me through the highs and lows of the Bears’ new signal caller. We talk about everything from Foles’ likely impact on Chicago’s offense to just how Foles could affect their 2020 win-loss record — you won’t want to miss this!
Check out the show below and let me know what you think!
Do you like the move? Do you hate it? What do YOU think?
