The rumors were kind of scarce on Wednesday for the Chicago Bears, but at some point soon we should hear something at the safety position and at offensive guard. The Bears have holes at those two spots that they can’t afford to let go unfilled until the NFL Draft. Their moves could be to simply re-sign Ha Ha Clinton Dix at safety and Ted Larsen for guard, but there are plenty of other options on the market at both positions.

11:51 PM: The Cowboys sign Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. (link)

11:00 AM: If the Bears are looking for a speed receiver, the Rams just put Brandin Cooks on the trade block. And just as an FYI, Cooks was drafted by the Saints in 2014 when Bears GM Ryan Pace was still their director of player personnel, and current Bears director of player personnel John Lucas was a scout there. 8:09 AM: While not Bears related, the Lions traded their pro bowl corner, Darius Slay, to the Eagles for a 3rd and a 5th-round pick. (link)
