The NFL Draft will kick off later this week, and while you’re watching the festivities make sure you have it locked right here at Windy City Gridiron as we’ll have wall to wall coverage from beginning on through the end.
Everything we do, or have done, in regards to the 2020 Chicago Bears draft can be found in this section right here, including our mocks, previews, prospect lists and more.
The 2020 NFL Draft will get started on Thursday, April 23 and run through Saturday, April 25.
We’ll have write-ups as soon as each Chicago pick is made, we’ll have our grades up relatively quick after every selection, as well as a video/GIF breakdown of the newest Bears’ skills, plus we’ll record a podcast after each new Bear prospect is announced.
We’ll also have some best-players-available articles after Thursday and Friday to get us Bears’ fans primed for the next day. And then even though the draft ends on Saturday night, the rookie excitement continues as we’ll launch our undrafted free agent news and rumor tracker shortly after the draft ends that we’ll continue to update all weekend long.
Here’s where you can watch the 2020 NFL Draft.
- Thursday, April 23 (7-10:30 p.m. CT): NFL Draft, First Round – ABC, ESPN, NFL Network, ESPN Deportes, ESPN Radio

There will be ten minutes between each pick on day one.
Here’s how the first-round is scheduled;

- Friday, April 24 (6-10:30 p.m.): NFL Draft, Rounds 2 and 3 – ABC, ESPN, NFL Network, ESPN Deportes, ESPN Radio
The Bears are currently scheduled to pick at 43 (From the Raiders) and 50 in the second round and they do not have a third round pick at this time.
There will be seven minutes between each selection on Friday.
- Sat, April 25 (11-6 p.m.): NFL Draft, Rounds 4 through 7 – ABC, ESPN, NFL Network, ESPN Deportes, ESPN Radio
The Bears pick at 163 in the 5th round, 196 and 200 (from the Eagles) in the 6th round, and at 226 (from the Raiders) and 233 in the 7th round.
There will be five minutes between each pick in rounds 4 through 6 on Saturday, with round 7 having 4 minutes between each selection.
Here’s something to keep in mind during the times between picks;
The @nfl has informed all teams that for the first time in draft history, they will “stop the clock” if teams exceed the time allotment to allow for trades that are in the process of being completed. The @nfl is smartly preparing for potential tech challenges.

- There are plenty of Digital Platform options to stream the draft so check out the NFL App, NFL.com, the ESPN App, and ESPN.com.
- ESPN Deportes will also provide exclusive Spanish-language coverage of the 2020 NFL Draft. Commentators include Monday Night Football voices Eduardo Varela and Pablo Viruega. In addition, ESPNDeportes.com will have a team dedicated to covering the draft, providing pre-draft analysis, pieces written by Sebastian Martinez Christensen and videos of every selection.
- Radio/audio: Radio coverage of the 2020 NFL Draft will be provided by SiriusXM, Westwood One, and ESPN Radio. Digital audio coverage of the 2020 NFL Draft will be available via the TuneIn app.
