The Chicago Bears continued adding to their 90-man offseason roster today with the addition of wide out/returner Trevor Davis on a one-year contract.
Originally a 5th-round pick of the Green Bay Packers in 2016 out of California, he was traded to the Raiders last September for a 6th-round pick. The Raiders released him after nine games, and he was quickly picked up by the Miami Dolphins.
His total 2019 stats were 8 receptions for 111 yards, 4 rushes for 73 yards and a touchdown, and 22 punt returns for a 6.6 average and 23 kick returns for a 22.0 average.
During his career he has 16 catches for 205 yards and a TD, 6 rushes for 86 yards and a TD, a 10.1 average on 59 punt returns, and a 22.4 average on 58 kickoff returns.
The 6’1”, 188 pounder ran a 4.42 forty at his combine in 2016, and he’ll turn 27-years old on July 4.
Do you guys like his chances to stick around in 2020 on the 55-man roster?
