What is the Bears top need?

Now that free agency has slowed to a crawl, what is the top remaining need for the Chicago Bears?

NFL: NFL Draft Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Drafting for need instead of taking the best football player available is a good way to miss out on potential game changers. Free agency — not the NFL Draft — is the time to plug holes in the roster. If teams head into the draft with a glaring need it could lead to them reaching on a lesser player out of desperation, which is why the Chicago Bears have always looked to shore up their depth in free agency. Ryan Pace hasn’t been a perfect general manager, but he’s done a solid job getting his roster set up for the draft each offseason.

The Bears have added an offensive lineman, a quarterback, some defensive backs, a couple tight ends, a few linebackers, and brought back a couple d-linemen, so they’re heading into April’s draft with some options. While they don’t have a first round pick, they should be able to get a couple real good football players at 43 and 50.

Regardless of how you think they’ll pick in the second-round, what position do you have as Chicago's top need right now?
