Chicago Bears History by the Decade: The 2000s

Episodes 10 and 11 of our limited podcast series Halas to Mack: Chicago Bears History by the Decade explores what could have been in the 2000s

Bears v Lions X

Welcome back to our podcast series on Chicago Bears history!

Jeff Berckes is joined by lifelong Bears fan and historian Matt Winter as they talk about a really fun decade that both podcasters are confident in saying they watched every single game - the 2000s. The 00s Bears featured some great players and were oh-so-close to capturing ultimate glory.

We kick things off with a cocktail recipe of the day and recap the NFL and US history. We then dig into all-time great Bears like Brian Urlacher, Charles Tillman, Lance Briggs, Devin Hester, and Olin Kreutz.

Finally, the guys will give answers to a number of fun categories. Who from the 00s would you most want on the upcoming 2020 roster? Who is their favorite player from the decade? Who won the decade?

All that and more on this week’s double-decker edition of Halas to Mack: Chicago Bears History by the Decade.
