Welcome back to our podcast series on Chicago Bears history!
Jeff Berckes is joined by lifelong Bears fan and historian Matt Winter as they talk about the current iteration of the Bears and what might be on the horizon in the 2020s. The current Bears were built on a number of interesting moves in the draft, free agency, and one giant trade.
After the customary chat about cocktails and pop culture, the guys discuss current starts like Allen Robinson, Kyle Fuller, Roquan Smith, Akiem Hicks, Eddie Jackson, and of course, Khalil Mack. Each player is compared to a historical Bears player as each podcaster tries to predict how their careers will be remembered.
Finally, the guys will break out their crystal balls and try to discern what Bears records will fall in the 2020s, who will be the best player, who their current favorite player is, and ultimately, who will win the decade.
All that and more on this week’s Halas to Mack: Chicago Bears History by the Decade.
