[Video] Answering burning questions about the Bears’ offensive line (with Lester Wiltfong!)

In his latest video breakdown, Robert S. brings Lester Wiltfong into the RPO studio to dissect the struggles of the 2019 offensive line, break down each starting 2020 lineman, and highlight the impact Juan Castillo may have on Chicago’s 2020 running game.

It feels a bit surreal, but football may just be around the corner — rookies have already reported to camp, veterans report next week, and with less than 60 positive tests in the NFL so far, it seems we’re on the verge of the Bears’ season starting on time. With that in mind, I grabbed WCG’s resident expert in OL play, Lester A. Wiltfong Jr., and together we tried to answer the burning questions the 2019 season left us with:

  • Why was the 2019 running game so bad?
  • Is James Daniels any good?
  • What was the biggest problem the 2019 OL faced, and is it fixed?
  • What should we expect from Germain Ifedi?
  • How impactful is the hiring of Juan Castillo?
  • And ultimately, what should we expect from the offensive line in 2020?

We had a lot of fun recording, and did our best to answer every question above while providing video evidence along the way — check out the show below and let me know what you think!

What do YOU think? Should the Bears look to further upgrade their line? And don’t forget to “Like” the video through Youtube and leave a comment below — every bit of engagement helps!
