Robinson is the Bears’ first player to make it onto this year’s list, with more of his teammates likely on the horizon. Four Bears players made appearances in 2019, and while it’s no guarantee all of them will make it again this year, Robinson presumably won’t be the only player representing the Windy City.
This marks the second appearance on the NFL Top 100 for Robinson, who was ranked No. 31 in 2016 after his Pro Bowl campaign with the Jaguars. He managed to bounce back and return to his 1,000-yard ways in his second season with the Bears, finishing the season with 98 catches, 1,147 yards and 7 touchdowns. His reception totals placed him seventh in the NFL for the 2019 season.
While currently unknown all of the receivers have been ranked above Robinson, it’s encouraging to see him getting recognition from the rest of the league. The 26-year-old proved himself as Chicago’s bonafide No. 1 receiver and is likely in store for another big season in 2020.
