Perhaps take it with a grain of salt, seeing as how the report has originated from Facebook but South Bend TV reporter Miles Garrett says that’s where he found out the Bears intend to tryout Kyle Sloter.
Per Facebook, FA QB Kyle Sloter will be working out for the #Bears next week after quarantining for a couple days.

Sloter’s been a preseason star since he entered the NFL & could provide Chicago with insight of the #Lions & #Vikings @mattzahnsports @PFTCommenter #SloterHouse pic.twitter.com/3NspZr2gT8
Sloter has spent preseasons and practice squad time with the Broncos, who signed him as an undrafted free agent out of Northern Colorado in 2017, where he finished up his college career which began at Southern Mississippi.
Sloter has subsequently spent time with the Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals and, most recently, the Detroit Lions.
He was on Detroit’s active roster after they had all those injuries last year at QB.
In the last three preseasons Sloter has completed 74 percent of his passes for 1,222, 11 TDs and 1 INT.
It’s just a tryout, so it might amount to nothing, but it could also be some increased competition for Tyler Bray.
What do you think?
