Bears Over Beers: Season Opener

The 2020 NFL season is finally here and real, live, football is back. Jeff and EJ recap the Bears dramatic come-from-behind opening win versus Detroit and look forward to next week’s game vs. the Giants.

Anthony Miller gets a well-deserved shout out as a difference-maker on offense for the Bears and the O-line gets a very bright spotlight pointed in their collective direction for what amounts to a miraculous transformation from their lackluster 2019 form into what looks to be a run-blocking powerhouse. There are some kinds words aimed Matt Nagy’s way as well for a creative and diverse gameplan that kept the Lions off balance and moved the ball when it had to.

After the break the focus shifts to a NY Giants team that got manhandled in their opener by Pittsburgh. The guys lay out some keys to beating the G-men next Sunday and as always, there are some delicious beverages to talk about.
