NFL Week 2: Bears vs Giants live updates and open thread

The Bears lead the game 17-0 at the half.

Darnell Mooney with his first NFL TD, Ryan Nall with his first NFL reception, and Deon Bush with his first NFL interception.

Mitchell Trubisky looks good and the offense is clicking.

David Montgomery left the game with an apparent neck injury, but it looks like he’s back on the sideline.

This is your weekly reminder that the Coral team is still tweaking our commenting system, and while it’ll never be what it once was, they are working to give SB Nation what we want.

There’s one big change that should be here soon that we know you’ll all be on board with.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

1. If you change the ‘Sort By’ option to “Oldest,” you can read all the comments in chronological order, and the comment box moves to the bottom. If you leave it as “Newest”, the latest comments will appear at the top.
2. If you’re using a computer, you can move down the comments using C, and move back up using shift-C by clicking once inside the comments area. This can also be used to ‘load more’ comments.
3. Under the ‘My Profile’ tab, you can keep track of replies to your comments, and also sign up for email notifications of replies
4. If you want to auto-show all images/GIFs/Tweets, you can opt into this under My Profile - Preferences
5. The WCG team are Bears fans and content creators, not website developers, so if you have a question or a suggestion then you can contact the team that works on this system here: support@coralproject.net.

Also, we aren’t quite sure how the auto-moderating system will handle adult language, so if your F-Bombs aren’t showing up, maybe scale it back to a ‘Freak the fricking Giants!’ type of comment.
