WCG Sunday Livestream: NFL Week 2 - Bears Vs Giants

The Bears’ week one win came down to a furious fourth quarter comeback and the Lions dropping the ball. What does week 2 have in store?

NFL: Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning. Week 2 is always better when the Bears are 1-0.

Last week, Mitchell Trubisky struggled to the point of the FOX halftime crew theorizing his benching for Nick Foles. Good thing the Bears didn’t, as Trubisky and the Bears rallied back in the fourth quarter from a 23-6 deficit to take the lead and, ultimately, win the game against the Detroit Lions. We’ll leave the D’Andre Swift drop out of it.

To say it’s been a quiet lull to week 2’s gameday is, well, a lie.

The Bears draw the Giants in week 2, as they come off a loss to the Steelers on Monday Night Football. Last year’s matchup went to the Bears 19-14, and a similar outcome this week would give the Bears their first 2-0 start since 2013 and that notable Marc Trestman era. The offense looking better and growing would be a nice bonus.

Bear Down, my friends.

So, any interesting news drop over the week? Contract extensions or lack thereof, dissecting a dropped pass and a back-and-forth performance by the offense, with a defensive showing that would’ve been eclipsed only once last season had the Lions scored that final touchdown, the WCG Livestream crew will be discussing it all for two hours.

Of course, all the usual ways to get a hold of us exist.

As usual, we’ll see you at 9:30 AM CT.
