With their 2020 season now complete, the Chicago Bears now turn their attention towards the 2021 season and the first step in that is signing some players for their offseason roster. On Monday the Bears announced that they were adding ten players to reserve/future deals; five on each side of the ball.

Offense:

WR - Rodney Adams

WR - Thomas Ives

OL - Dieter Eiselen

OL - Badara Traore

TE - Jesper Horsted

Defense:

DB - Marqui Christian

DB - Xavier Crawford

DB - Teez Tabor

DL - LaCale London

LB - Ledarius Mack

All ten of these players ended the season on the Bears practice squad with a few of them seeing some game day action in 2020.

The six practice squad players that were not brought back were linebacker Manti Te’o, defensive back Sojourn Shelton, running back Spencer Ware, quarterbacks Tyler Bray and Kyle Sloter, and offensive lineman Eric Kush.

The Bears could add a few more players on a reserve/future contract as they don’t technically count until the start of the 2021 league year.
