With the NFL’s 2020 regular season now concluded, the 2021 opponents for all thirty two teams are officially set. Exact times and dates will be announced in a few months.
Next season is still a 16-game slate for now, but it is widely expected that the league will get their previously agreed upon 17th game added for 2021. An extra game would help keep the salary cap from dropping too far.
A 17 game season would take place across 18 weeks with each team still receiving just one bye week. Adding an extra game in the regular season would then cut the four-game preseason slate to either two or three games.
Here are the 2021 opponents for the Chicago Bears.
HOME: Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, New York Giants
AWAY: Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
If there is a 17th game added the Bears will play the second place finisher from the AFC West, the Las Vegas Raiders.
Besides their NFC North rivals, the Bears have the four NFC West teams, the four AFC North teams, and due to their second place finish they’ll play the other second place teams in the NFC, the Giants and Bucs.
The last time the Bears played the AFC North (2017) they went 4-0, and the last time they played the NFC West (2018) they also went 4-0.
