Bear & Balanced: Bears defense dominates the Raiders

The Chicago Bears took it to the Las Vegas Raiders 20 to 9, and they did it with a run first, grind it out game plan, similar to what they showed a week ago. Two weeks in a row makes this a trend, so could these Bears have finally found an identity on offense?

On defense, the players all seem to really enjoy playing in Sean Desai‘s defense, and while it is a Vic Fangio-like scheme, Desai has definitely made it his own. He’s moving his players around to get them in the best possible spot to succeed, they are playing more three safety looks, and so far Desai has them playing some damn good football.

Here’s a bullet point outline of their Bear & Balanced, Bears vs Raiders breakdown.

• Intro: The show kicks off talking about how they each like to watch games, before addressing the breaking news surrounding the Raiders in regards to head coach Jon Gruden resigning.
• Trench Tribute: Jeff gives us a dynamic duo from the game for his linemen of the week, while Lester zeros in on one guy that he graded out (+56/-6) on his rewatch.

• Caught up in a numbers game: Jeff and Lester picked the same number this week, 34!
• The 3 Bears: You guys all know the story of the Three Bears, so Jeff and Lester give their picks for the Bears’ player that was hot, the Bear that was cold, and the Bear that was just right in the game against the Raiders.
• They wrap the show up spending some time on the good and bad that they saw from rookie Justin Fields.
