WCG Sunday Livestream: Week 4 - Bears Vs Lions

Talk some Bears pregame right here!

NFL: Chicago Bears at Cleveland Browns Scott Galvin-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning. Last week... did not go as planned.

In one short week, we’ve gone from full excitement over the Justin Fields debut to finding some balance in Fields having a bad game, the offensive line having a bad game, Matt Nagy continuing his offensive trending of just generally awful offense, and oscillating between the Bears being able to pick up the pieces and rally to beat the Lions this week and never scoring another point again in the 2021 season.

At least the 0-3 Detroit Lions come to town fresh off getting beaten on a new-record 66-yard game-winning field goal.

Does that mean anything for the Bears? Probably not. Last year the two teams traded wins on furious comebacks in the final few minutes. This year the only thing separating them record-wise is a dominant defensive performance by the Bears.

The Dan Campbell Lions may have had a weird offseason, something about biting kneecaps, I’m not sure. But even though they’re winless, the last two have been the Packers and the aforementioned loss to the Ravens.

That being said, the Bears do have somewhat of an opportunity to improve their offensive misfortune, as through three games, the Lions’ passing defense is 31st in the NFL in net yards per attempt allowed at 8.8.

Can the Navy and Orange improve that paltry league-trailing 2.7 net yards per attempt as Justin Fields gets his second career start

Get back to .500. Bear Down, my friends.

The WCG Sunday Livestream is withholding who will be hosting the livestream until gametime. We really need the competitive advantage against the other pregame entertainment.
