With the 3-1 Las Vegas Raiders up next for the 2-2 Chicago Bears, they’ll need all hands on their defensive deck to slow down Derek Carr, Darren Waller, Henry Ruggs III and the rest of Vegas’ talented offense. But the first injury report of the week came out on Wednesday and there was some bad news for Chicago, and on Thursday things didn’t get any better.
Both defensive lineman Akiem Hicks (groin) and outside linebacker Khalil Mack (foot/ribs) were held out of practice the last two days. Hick only played one snap last Sunday against the Lions before leaving with his injury, but Mack gutted through his (now) two injuries.
Running back David Montgomery is an injured reserve candidate, so his absence was expected, but it’s good to see there was no setback from his back up Damien Williams who was a full go both days.
Here’s how the Bears list things so far this week.

The injury report on Friday will be the key one as that will list all the game day designations, and we’ll share that on WCG once it’s official.
You guys concerned with Hicks and Mack sitting out?
