Early Week 10 odds for the NFC 7th seed competitors

We take a look at a few of the teams ahead of the Chicago Bears in the standings as they all battle for that 7th seed in the NFC.

The Chicago Bears play the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football, and a win would leave them still squarely in the hunt for the seventh and final seed in the NFC playoff race. The postseason seems like a longshot, especially with Chicago developing a rookie quarterback, but if Justin Fields can keep making small strides, these Bears could surprise a team or two in the second half of their season.

Chicago has their bye after they play in Pittsburgh, so we wanted to take an early look at the odds for the week 10 games that feature some of the other NFC teams fighting for that seventh seed in the conference. The Bears are currently the 12th seed at 3-5, but if they win they’ll shoot up to 9th in the NFC.

Here are the latest odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Current NFC seed is in parenthesis

(7) Atlanta Falcons at Dallas Cowboys

(8) Carolina Panthers at Arizona Cardinals

(9) Minnesota Vikings at Los Angeles Chargers

(10) Seattle Seahawks at Green Bay Packers

Los Angeles Rams at (11) San Francisco 49ers

Every one of these teams ahead of the Bears are underdogs.

Chicago obviously need a win on Monday to keep pace, but things could get really interesting for them in the second half of the 2021 season.
