Bears vs Packers Injury Report: A-Rob is back, Hicks is Out

Here’s the full injury report for the Bears and Packers in advance of their game on Sunday Night.

The Chicago Bears are 4-8 and hanging on to the slimmest of playoff chances, but they are as healthy has they’ve been in a long while heading into their divisional showdown on Sunday Night Football with the Green Bay Packers. Besides the handful of players on injured reserve, the Bears shouldn’t be missing any significant players this game.

Here’s how the Bears’ report looks after today’s practice.

Akiem Hicks, DL (Ankle) - Questionable Out

Teez Tabor, DB (Illness) - Out

Mario Edwards Jr., DL (Ribs) - Questionable

Marquise Goodwin, WR (Foot) - Doubtful

Andy Dalton, QB (Left hand) - Doubtful

Cassius Marsh Sr., OLB (Knee) - Out Placed on IR

For those scoring at home, that means there is no injury designation for Justin Fields, David Montgomery, or Allen Robinson. All three will be good to go on Sunday night, and are as close to 100% as you can be this time of year. This will be A-Rob’s first action since he hurt his hamstring back on November 8 against the Steelers.

Hicks and Edwards should also be good to face the Packers as both participated in full at Friday’s practice. Hicks also hasn’t played since re-injuring his groin in Pittsburgh, and he’s always made it a point to get up for this rivalry game.

EDIT: Hicks was downgraded to out for the game... (link)

Neither Dalton nor Goodwin practiced the last couple days so both will likely be out. Head coach Matt Nagy said that Dalton’s hand is swollen and still painful for him, so that means Nick Foles is in line to be Fields’ back up.

Marsh suffered a knee injury at Halas Hall today, and the team has placed him on injured reserve. To take his place on the roster they have signed outside linebacker Bruce Irvin from their practice squad.

Here’s how Green Bay lists their report today.

David Bakhtiari, T (Knee) - Out

Randall Cobb, WR (Core) - Out

De’Vondre Campbell, LB (Illness) - Questionable

Aaron Rodgers (toe) missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but he was back out there on Friday a little bit, but there’s no way he’s going to miss a chance to stick it to the Bears in primetime. Even with him being limited today, he carries no injury designation.

Campbell is expected to play after a stint on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

Cobb had surgery this week, so he could be headed to IR.

Corner Jaire Alexander has been practicing, but it does not appear the Packers will activate him from IR for Sunday night.
