Per a report from the Chicago Tribune’s Brad Biggs, the Chicago Bears are re-signing long snapper Patrick Scales to a one-year deal with a base salary of $990K and a $137,500 signing bonus.
With Scales back in the fold, that’ll mean all three specialists will return from the 2020 season, as it was previously reported that the Bears signed kicker Cairo Santos and punter/holder Patrick O’Donnell.
The 33-year old Scales has been with the Bears since 2015 and he has appeared in 69 games, including 64 straight, and he has 6 tackles during his time.
Keep it locked on WCG for all the latest in free agency, and be sure to follow the entire team on social media for immediate takes on the Bears.
