I would imagine only the truly hardcore (and slightly delusional) Chicago Bears fans will shell out some money betting on Andy Dalton to win the NFL’s MVP award for the 2021 season, but if you’re into that kind of thing you can get Dalton at 100/1 right now at BetOnline.ag.
As you would expect, their list of MVP candidates is dominated by quarterbacks, with Dalton checking in with the same 100/1 odds as the Denver Broncos’ Drew Lock, the Washington Football Team’s Ryan Fitzpatrick, the Carolina Panthers’ Sam Darnold, and the New Orleans Saints’ Taysom Hill.
The only QBs with worse odds are three guys that have yet to be drafted and current Carolina backup Teddy Bridgewater all at 150/1.
If you’re looking for a better value bet, then our guy Jeff Berckes has his eye on Justin Herbert (22/1) from the Los Angeles Chargers building off his stellar 2020 season.
A safer bet would be to go with one of the usual suspects like 2020 MVP Aaron Rodgers (9/1) of the Green Bay Packers, 2019 MVP Lamar Jackson (14/1) of the Baltimore Ravens or the Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes (5/1) who won the 2018 MVP award.
Here’s their full list they sent out in a press release earlier today.
