The 2021 NFL Draft is just under a week away, meaning the guys at the LunchPail DraftCast are kicking into high gear!
After taking a few episodes to break down the hog-mollies of the offensive and defensive line, Danny Meehan and Jacob Infante shifted gears towards the wide receivers and cornerbacks. They even brought on a special guest for the show: PFF’s Brad Spielberger!
In the latest episode, Danny, Jacob and Brad compare the consensus top four wide receivers — Ja’Marr Chase, DeVonta Smith, Jaylen Waddle and Rashod Bateman — and explain where they each have the four ranked. They also take deep dives into Day 3 pass-catchers like Jaelon Darden and Rico Bussey Jr.
It’s not just an offensive festival of friendship, though: the guys shift their focus towards cornerbacks in the second half of the show. From comparing the top prospects like Patrick Surtain and Jaycee Horn to discussing sleepers like Benjamin St. Juste and Thomas Graham Jr., all three drop knowledge bombs on numerous intriguing defensive backs in the 2021 draft.
