The Chicago Bears made a few of their day three rookies available to the media before today’s practice at Halas Hall, and I wasn’t expecting to get so many wonderful food options for the Chicagoland area during the presser.

Today’s lineup was offensive lineman Larry Borom, then running back Khalil Herbert, with wide out Dazz Newsome capping the press conference, and it was Newsome that stole the show.

After being asked if he had a chance to try out any restaurants that were suggested to him on social media, Newsome asked the reporters to give him a food suggestion before asking their question. The rest of the interview turned into a foody’s dream.

Some of the restaurants mentioned were Portillo’s, Lou Malnati’s, Gibsons, Giordano’s, Harold’s, Piccolo Sogno, Pequod’s and Tsukasa, but Newsome said he was upset to learn that the Waffle House wasn’t global.

Dazz also had some football related things to say, so here’s a quick Twitter round up of his, Borom’s and Herbert’s pressers, and if you want to watch them for yourself you can scroll down for the videos.

You can watch their press conferences right here.

And in case you missed it, Matt Nagy and Justin Fields’ press conference recap can be found in the related link above, and here’s Teven Jenkins from yesterday.
