Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy met the media today after day two of rookie minicamp, and you can watch the entire press conference in the embed above.

“On tape I think it’s one of his greatest strengths he has,” Nagy said about Justin Fields’ ability to throw long with an “accurate deep ball.”
Nagy said they have a idea on a direction they want to go for a depth chart at left tackle, but nothing has been finalized yet.
He said that Fields’ serious demeanor is due to his “competitive nature and competitive spirit.”
Nagy was pleased with the retention shown from his rookie quarterback from day one to day two, and he went into detail on some on the little things he’d like to see from Fields.
He talked about wide out Dazz Newsome’s success form the slot in college and said he chance to find playing time in 2021 is “going to be about taking advantage of opportunities” when they arise for him once OTAs and training camp start.
He also spent some time discussing the wide receiver group as a whole, saying that Anthony Miller has been “doing a hell of a job” this offseason.
Nagy discussed the football IQ his rookie QB has, and how good Fields is with his “post-snap vision.”
In regards to rookie corner Thomas Graham, Nagy said there’s an opportunity for him to have a role this year in Sean Desai’s defense.
