Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged-in Chicago Bears fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.

These SB Nation Reacts polls started up a few years ago and they were at their most fun during the 2018 season. I’m not going to lie, the last couple years have been rough as a Bears fan in seeing how other fans bases felt about their teams while mine has been stumbling through consecutive 8-8 seasons.

Our confidence of the direction of the franchise has been near the worst all throughout the league.

But not any more.

But the 2021 NFL Draft has brought us hope, and it’s not just our fans that feel that way, it’s most fans and members of the media believe the Bears nailed this draft. Our Reacts’ voters chimed in on this years draft class with a robust 79% for an A grade, with just 6% going C or lower.

We’re clearly fired up.

After the first round on Thursday, our Reacts’ voters weighed in on the Bears top draft pick, Justin Fields, and that pick garnered a 74% of the vote for an A.

After the draft we did a round up of several analysts around the league and those all came in with high marks.

After the grades were all tabulated, Chicago’s rookie class came in with a 3.99 GPA, which would make general manager Ryan Pace the valedictorian of the 2021 NFL Draft class, which is a remarkable turnaround from where he was just 4 months ago.

I looked at The Athletic’s consensus big board and according to their data the Bears have the top class by value among all 32 teams, and they were number one by an incredibly wide margin.

We asked the WCG readers to give a letter grade to each individual draft pick the Bears made, and all those came in positive as well at either an A or B (with the votes rising).

We’ll see how long this hope can stay with us, but for now enjoy this moment.

Another round of draft related questions went our earlier this week and we’ll share those once they come in.
