When we last visited the SB Nation Reacts’ confidence poll, way back on January 14, us Chicago Bears fans were only at a 14% confidence level in our favorite franchise. The Bears were coming off an embarrassing loss to the Saints in the wildcard game, and general manager Ryan Pace and head coach Matt Nagy were both squarely on the hot seat.

We had a couple Pace/Nagy polls that day too with 76% of us wanting Pace fired and 66% of us wanting Nagy gone.

Dark times for our fandom for sure.

But things can quickly change in the National Football League, and in one night the Bears changed the direction of the franchise when they traded up for the best quarterback prospect any of us has ever seen don the Navy and Orange.

With Justin Fields the QB1 in waiting, our confidence in the Bears is soaring.

Fields might be a legit franchise quarterback, and on night two the Bears maybe have found a franchise offensive tackle in Teven Jenkins.

It was a truly remarkable turn of events for our fanbase.

But things weren’t so cheery for the team to the North.

Green Bay Packers’ fans had an awful three days that started with rumors of their franchise QB wanting out, and it ended with their draft class receiving low marks from most analysts.

If Aaron Rodgers returns, the Pack will be back as the favorites in the division, but the 37-years old reigning MVP is legitimately unhappy with the current state of the only franchise he’s ever played for.

Things could get interesting in the NFC North this year.
