Eddie Jackson’s new cereal will benefit his Remain To Reach Foundation

Earlier today PLB Sports & Entertainment announced via Twitter that they were partnering up with Chicago Bears safety Eddie Jackson on a limited edition cereal to benefit his Remain to Reach Foundation.

While there has been no official word on the flavor profile of the cereal, the GIF in the Tweet above seems like it’ll be of the cinnamon and sugar type of crunch variety. The cereal will be available in the Chicagoland area at participating Mariano’s markets.

PLB Sports & Entertainment has been working with athletes for over 20 years creating tasty products to raise awareness and raise proceeds for various charities. If you ever heard of Flutie Flakes (which benefitted the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism) then you know of their company.

Jackson’s Remain to Reach Foundation sets out to to inspire and provide resources for at-risk kids who got in trouble with the law at an early age.

“I grew up in a challenging situation, and I saw many friends go through unimaginable things,” Jackson said via his Foundation’s website. “I feel blessed to have ended up where I am today – in the NFL – but that is not the story for so many kids who grow up in at-risk situations. Through Remain to Reach I hope to connect with as many of those kids as possible, and remind them that there is hope and that they have to make the most of their second chances.”
