Breaking down Darnell Mooney, the Bears 1B receiver

It’s always good perspective to check out video breakdowns not made by Chicago Bears fans every once in a while. Us fans can view things through Navy and Orange colored glasses at times, so to get an objective peek at our favorite team can help us keep our opinions in check.

That’s not to say there aren’t outstanding and fair breakdowns out there from Bears’ fans (i.e. Run Pass Opinion), but when I catch an interesting film review shared on social media, I want to share it here at WCG.

Ray Garvin (@RayGQue), who writes for Dynasty Football League and hosts their Destination Devy Podcast, comes at his videos from a fantasy football viewpoint, but in his latest video featuring Bears wide out Darnell Mooney, he’s breaking down the X’s&O’s and the technique he likes from Chicago’s second year pro.

He believes Mooney “is as impressive as they come,” and he thinks Mooney right now is a “high end 1B to an alpha’s 1A.”

Check out his video above and let us know if you have high expectations for Mooney in 2021.
