The Bears announced on Wednesday the schedule for their upcoming 2021 training camp. Arguably the most notable development is the team’s decision to allow fans to attend in a limited capacity after prohibiting fans from attending last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the team’s website, approximately 1,000 fans will be admitted to each practice from July 29 to Aug. 25. This year marks the second year the Bears have held training camp at Halas Hall, but only the first which fans will be allowed to attend.
In order to determine which fans will be allowed into each practice, the Bears will be offering the chance to enter a drawing to win up to four free tickets for one practice.
The Bears’ senior website writer, Larry Mayer, shared this information about how to apply for free tickets:
Registration to enter the drawing for the opportunity to receive free tickets will open at noon (CT) Thursday, July 8, and close at noon (CT) Thursday, July 15, at ChicagoBears.com/camp. Fans will be able to register for the chance to win up to four tickets and will only be eligible to receive tickets for one day of training camp. Recipients of tickets will be randomly selected and notified the week of July 19. All tickets will be available via mobile only. Official rules for the Chicago Bears Training Camp Tickets Drawing will be available soon at ChicagoBears.com/camp.
