Overtime, which is leading brand for the next generation of sports fans, has partnered up with GMC to launch OT Films, and one of their first projects was all about Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields.

In about 25 minutes they take us from Fields’ time in high school when he struggled to stay on the field, to finally playing but being a low ranked prospect, to being one of the most sought after recruits of all time. His personal rivalry with Trevor Lawrence, who grew up and played about a half hour away, pushed him to be the best player he could be, and when they faced off head to head at the Elite 11 quarterback camp, it was Fields that came away with the MVP.

Part 1 of this documentary ends with his brief time at Georgia, and what led to him leaving there for Ohio State.

Part two picks up right where part 1 left off. It discusses him arriving in Columbus, him not feeling comfortable there and wanting to leave, and what made him stick around as a Buckeye.

And then another chapter in the Fields vs Lawrence rivalry to cap off the 2019 season, on through 2020 and an Ohio State vs Clemson rematch in the playoffs, and of course how he overcame the punishing hit to close out the game.

Part 2 of the documentary closes with Fields’ NFL Draft prep and all the drama that surrounded to the lead up to the event, and then him falling to 11th overall pick where the Chicago Bears pounced to secure their QB of the future.
